Quote:"In an instant she(Moon)had leapt away and buried her head in a patch of tall grass.She emerged with a fat vole,wich she laid at my feet(wich was hurt because of the hungry dogs).Then she dove into the grass again and emerged with a second vole.Moon,who preferred not to hunt,had caught a meal for me.I was healing.
Reaction:Moon and Squirrel must be very good friends now.Thier almost like brothers and sisters.

Quote:"But I was startled to look at Moon and see in her place one of the bony dogs from the resting place.How long until my friend would be as the desperate as they were?"
Reaction:"I feel sad for the dogs.They can't find food because it's winter and they can't hunt good.I could make connetcion because I am fasting right now and I can't eat but I eventualy eat at night.

Reaction:Too bad Moon and Squirrel don't know what Christmas is.I can relate to them because I dont celibrate Christmas.

Quote:"The sun came out Moon and I basked in it,our stomachs full.We spent that night-I know now that it was Christmas night-in the spot between the dumpsters. "
Reaction:It was nice of the women who owned a store to give the stray dogs a Christmas present.Whitch was food(hamberger to be exact).

Quote:"The dogs,a little one Moon's size and a bigger one,didn't see the men.In a flash,each man threw his loop around the neck of a dog and pulled it tight.Caught!The dogs were caught. "
Reaction:Moon and Squirrel should be careful now the men might seperate them.If that happened I don't know how they would survive.
